The Holdridge Radii-Cutter will turn virtually any spherical contour on a lathe. It turns both concave and convex, in any material that can be turned, and in a wide range of sizes. The Radii-Cutter is the most versatile radius turning tool on the market. The Radii-Cutter is available in six models, the largest of which can turn a maximum diameter ball of 12 inches. Typical parts include complete balls, sockets to radius depth, pipe bending dies, tube rolling diesets, ball valves, ball bearing races, lenses, corner radii and much more. A Power Drive Unit is available for all models of the Radii-Cutter, which replaces the manual lever-handle drive with a specially designed gearmotor drive.
